Stepping Stones
Contact Us
Stepping Stones is a transitional, open program that provides structure and services for young people ages 7-18 years old that have recently left a confined setting.
Our program offers further stabilization, assessment, therapeutic supports and transitional activities for youth as they prepare to re-enter the community.
The Stepping Stones program fosters opportunities to continue the groundwork necessary for young people to move forward successfully.
All young people entering the Stepping Stones program must have Children’s Services Intervention Status and the maximum length of stay for youth is 60 days.
One criterion for children and adolescents referred to Stepping Stones is that an identified placement beyond our program is secured prior to enrollment.
During their time in our program, youth must participate in creating a plan for their future. We assist in this process and reinforce its importance through trust building, forming relationships, identifying and connecting with community based supports and resources, and teaching life skills.
Our services promote successful transitioning for children and adolescents and help create higher rates of retention in their next placement.
