Radisson Group Home helps youth ages 12-18 years old who present a broad spectrum of emotional, behavioural and social issues.
We provide safety, security, assessments and treatments to support young people who require out-of-home care.
Our home environment allows young people to continue their treatment and have access to community services that meet individual needs.
Many youth referred to Radisson Group Home have often been removed from their families due to family breakdown, behavioural and emotional problems, neglect or abandonment and physical, emotional or sexual abuse.
Some young people have been in other residential treatment programs or have had court involvement under the Young Offenders Act, and in some cases, youth are referred to our program as a result of breakdowns in other placements.
Radisson is a way for all these young people to integrate back into the community.
We work with youth and where possible their families or significant community supporters to create individualized treatment approaches. We provide both short term and long term interventions and access community services available.
In addition, other programs within the Hull Agency are also utilized where needed to help meet current and often changing needs of young people and their families.
