FASD MAPS
FASD MAPS is The Family Advocacy and Support Project providing flexible, in-home support services for families with youth ages 8-15 years old who are confirmed with or suspected of having Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, (FASD).
We work with 3 additional service partners to support and educate youth and their families about FASD. Many families involved are seeking early intervention support and teaching regarding FASD in order to understand and effectively parent their children with FASD.
Over 50% of the families participating in this program are adoptive parents. The remaining balance consists of foster parents and biological parents.
Our program is voluntary and participation from all family members is vital.
We provide services designed to work in collaboration with all family members that preserve and reunify families as well as strengthen the emotional and physical well-being of the family unit.
